It is time to start going through your closets and setting aside your no longer needed gems for our First Annual Rummage Sale! On June 21st, we will be holding a community-wide rummage sale to jointly benefit our school's Dream Big Project and the Neighborhood Program - both of which need our continued support. Have an old sofa you no longer use, a dresser taking up space, or old toys that need dusting off? Donate them to our rummage sale! We can even provide you with a donation receipt. And, of course, please spread the word. We need lots of items to make our sale a huge success! The sale will be held in our school's parking lot so let's fill it up with cool finds. If you are interested in collecting items for our sale, working the sale, and/or storing items until the big day, please contact either Courtney Kreutz ([email protected]) or Jamie Clary ([email protected]). Thanks!
Over 100 people throughout our community showed up at the Village Hut to enjoy some delicious pork sliders while supporting our efforts to raise money for a new playground. Thanks to the generosity of J Harris, owner/chef of the Village Hut, we were able to raise almost $800 for our project! Thanks to all who showed up for our event and a HUGE thank you to J who donated his time, skills, food and money to our effort. What a fun way to bring our community together! Now, start saving your pennies, bottles and cans for our next fundraiser coming up soon!
